My favorite song by Unni Menon. Peter Cheranalloor puts out such divine music. I even wrote to Unni Menon and wanted to know if he knew Our Lord Jesus personally for I want him to enter heaven after life on earth is through. I have always wondered about the lyrics and meaning of this song. I am a tamilian and can only make bits and pieces of this lovely tune. May I kindly request you to post an english translation of the song so I would enjoy the praise song better and mean every word I sing the next time. Keep up the good work. Until he comes....:)

Apostles Creed - English version

I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.

I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended to the dead.

On the third day he rose again; he ascended into heaven, he is seated at the right hand of the Father, and he will come to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Universal Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting.

வானத்தையும் பூமியையும் படைத்த சர்வ வல்லமையுள்ள பிதாவாகிய தேவனை விசுவாசிக்கிறேன்:

அவருடைய குமாரனாகிய நம்முடைய நாதர் இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவையும் விசுவாசிக்கிறேன். அவர் பரிசுத்த ஆவியினாலே கன்னிமரியாளிடத்தில் உற்பவித்துப் பிறந்தார். பொந்தியு பிலாத்துவின் காலத்தில் பாடுபட்டு, சிலுவையில் அறையுண்டு, மரித்து, அடக்கம் பண்ணப்பட்டு, பாதாளத்தில் இறங்கினார்:

மூன்றாம் நாள் மரித்தோரிடத்திலிருந்து எழுந்தருளினார்: பரமண்டலத்துக்கேறி, பிதாவின் வலதுபாரிசத்தில் வீற்றிருக்கிறார்; அவ்விடத்திலிருந்து உயிருள்ளோரையும் மரித்தோரையும் நியாயந்தீர்க்க வருவார்.
